DANIEL AMARTEY scores his first goal against Stoke City

Liecester city midfielder and Ghanain international Daniel Amartey  scored his first goal at the bet365 stadium today. The versatile midfielder headed home and wheeled away in front  of a great Blue Army.

The host, Stoke City had taken the lead 2-0 up on the stroke of half time through the heroics of Joe Allen. Jamie Vardy was sent off in the middle of the First half, giving Stoke City a one-man advantage after Bojan converted a penalty for the Potters.However, the Foxes never gave up .

2 minutes after the begining of the second half, Demarai Gray with Leonardo Ulloa orchestrated Liecester’s first goal. The foxes continued to press fir an equalizer , then with just two minutes to play, fuch’s delivery from the right flank got to Amartey, who headed in a maiden City goal to earn his side an equalizer against the Porters.

Stoke City pushed for a winner in injury time through a  powerful strike from Glen Whelan’s  but Schemeichel got a strong hand to deny him goal.
