The Ministry paid $13,000 each to the Black Queens after they had demonstrated in a similar fashion to demand their outstanding bonuses and this has also force the Princesses to follow suit.
In an interview with Boss Sports in Kumasi, Hon. Freda Akosua Prempeh, Memeber of Parliament for Tano North expressed her displeasure at the way the female teams are being treated in relation to their bonuses.
She affirmed her full support to ladies on the recent strategies of demonstration in demand for their unpaid bonuses. She said its hard time the government and Ministry of Youth and Sports resolved this kind of problems to motivate the ladies who play football and other sporting activities.
Hon. Akosua Prempeh is a member of the Parliamentary Committee on Sports and was part of the team that met the transition team to trash out monetary matters for the Black Stars towards the Total African Cup of Nations 2017.
