Live Updates :

90+6′ – Full time – Done and dusted, Egypt have beaten Morocco for the first time in over 30 years to advance into the semifinals!

88′ – GOAL! Egypt 1-0 Morocco – Mahmoud Abdel-Moneim pokes the ball home after some poor defending from Morocco at a corner kick! The Pharaohs are on course for the semifinals!

83′ – Safe hands from Essam El Hadary as he claims another cross. The Egypt defence has been bombarded from out wide in the second half, but they remain unbreached so far.

60′ – Up to the hour mark. Still goalless between the Pharaohs and Atlas Lions, but we’ve already seen more attacking action in the second half than we did in the first.

55′ – Mbark Boussoufa shoots from long range… and hits the crossbar! So close for the Atlas Lions!

54′ – Now a great chance for Morocco as Nabil Dirar plays a teasing low cross which Essam El Hadary palms away under pressure from Aziz Bouhaddouz.

50′ – The first chance of the half goes the way of Mohamed Salah, who burst free down the right of the penalty area and forced Munir Mohand into a sharp save with a stinging volley.

46′ – Back underway in the second half, no further changes from either team at the break.

45+3′ – Half time – Goalless at the break, let’s hope for some more attacking action in the second half.

15′ – Mahmoud Hassan with a shot from a tight angle, well saved at his near post by goalkeeper Munir Mohand! The first genuine sight of goal goes the way of Egypt…

11′ – Yellow card – Tarek Hamed is book for his coming together with Aziz Bouhaddouz. Both players are okay to continue.

10′ – A nasty collision between Tarek Hamed and Aziz Bouhaddouz sees both players down in the middle of the pitch receiving treatment.

5′ – Cagey stuff early on, both sides happy to sit back in the opening minutes. Morocco have seen a touch more of the ball.

1′ – Kick-off – We are underway in Port-Gentil! Egypt wear red, white and black, Morroco are in green and red.
