“I’m not going to be a Minister for only football”.
“We are going to create Youth Development Authority to monitor and coordinate all youth development”.
“There are many areas that we can consider to make sports more lucrative”.
“As a Minister, I’ll not deal directly with the GFA. My work with GFA has to go through National Sports Authority”.
“I’ll provide a leadership that fights corruption in the Sports Ministry”.
“The Winneba Sports College is not even accredited. Ghana cannot boast of a single Sports College”
We need to develop all sporting discipline
“With Sports Bill passed by ex president Mahama in December last year which it bulletins captured are going to be implemented from this year, I will make sure the GFA becomes an accountable to the people of Ghana to win Ghanaians trust again in order for us to win more gold for this football country.”
“There are enough of mechanisms to fight to erase corruption in ministry of Youth and Sports but only parliament cannot arrest everyday oversight act and stand on it authority to help achieve that goal, ordinary Ghanaians cannot fight corruption alone”.
“I will not be using “bogaboga” tactics. I will be ensuring that I will engage the Ghana Football Association,” Asiamah said
“We cannot afford to be going at each other publicly I think that Kwesi Nyantakyi has down a lot for Ghana Football.”
“We qualified for the world Cup on three occasions under him and even though I admit there there is a lot we can do to improve sports I think the best way to go is to dialogue.”
