The Vice president of the Ghana Football Association, Mr George Afriyie has stated that the Black Stars Management are yet to meet with the other Executive Committee members to settle on a new coach for the Senior National team.
He spoke to Nhyira FM in Kumasi and explained that, the GFA are not under any pressure to appoint a new coach now. But rather, they will take their take to analyze the situation so that the best person can be figured out come on board and help the team do better.
Mr. Afriyie said “Avram Grant will leave Ghana on Thursday after parting ways with Ghana but the GFA are yet to meet on his successor.
He further on explained that Coach Avram Grant insisted Razak Briamah stay in the camp of the Stars so Management had no choice than to allow him to stay but there will be subsequent sanctions announce later.
The C.E.O of Okyeman Planners debunked the allegations of the GFA owing Alisa Hotel and Movenpick Hotel a total of 135, 000 US Dollars for the cost of Avram Grant’s accommodation in Ghana.
Meanwhile, Assistant Coach Maxwell Konadu has been asked to take over the team for the meantime till a substantive one is appointed.
