Former Medeama SC head coach, Tom Strand has rendered an unqualified apology to the club after leaving the club in an improper manner.
Tom Strand had gone AWOL with the Swedish trainer announcing his resignation 24 hours after his side lost 3-1 to Mamelodi Sundowns in the CAF Confederation Cup play-off tie.
Strand, 33, had informed the club about his decision after he took responsibility for the side’s heart-breaking defeat against the South Africans.
Prior to his abysmal decision, the young trainer had acted unprofessionally during his tenure assenting himself and at times refusing to travel with the team.
However upon his return to the country after leaving for his native country, strand has sent an unreserved apology to both the fans and hierarchy of the club via his Facebook account.
I want to thank all my fans and people in tarkwa for a wonderful run. I wish you carry the team for more success.
Once again am sorry have I left the club.
Time now to move on.
Medeama never give up!!!!!!!
