It was a celebration — a phone call gesture — which produced a lot of talking points until it was confirmed that it was for his nephew. It’s something one of Messi’s borthers, Rodrigo, has also confirmed with a message on social media.
Rodrigo Messi has published a video of his brother celebrating his brilliant first goal against Celta. With the footage, he posted the caption: “Simple a great.”
