Awudu Nafiu, the centre back for Kumasi Asante Kotoko , has warned his colleagues against complacency ahead of their remaining games.
The Porcupine Warriors are on a good run of form in the 2016/17 Ghana Premier League season with four and a draw from the five matches played thus far and a good defensive record of conceding just one and scored five goals.
The record champions were given a scare by daring premier league debutants, Elmina Sharks but sailed through in added time when in-form midfielder, Emmanuel Gyamfi scored to keep pace with leader’s, Aduana Stars.
And this Nafiu admits is a signal they cannot underestimate any opponent.
“What we have seen today against Elmina Sharks is a clear indication that no team is easy to play, he told the club’s website.
“It will therefore be wrong to classify some matches as high profile and others as low profile. We have to approach every game with the same seriousness” he added.
The former Ashgold player has featured in all five league. He also played for King Faisal and Berekum Chelsea before joining Asante Kotoko.
