Ghana U17 team, the Black Starlets have arranged to play Niger U17 in a friendlsy ahead of the CAF U17 Championship to be hosted by Gabon.
The Black Starlets are drawn in Group A alongside the host, Cameroon and Guinea at the African U17 Championship which will start on 21st May, 2017 and end on 4th June, 2017.
The Starlets will like to test their readiness before the tournament and will play Niger in a friendly to know how prepared they are for the African showpiece.
Head coach of the Starlets, Paa Kwesi Fabin in an interview with Starrsportsgh said;
“We are going to resume preparations on Sunday.”
“I think the FA has lined up a friendly match for us with Niger so when we resume, we would know the date we will play against them.
He added: “After that match, we will continue preparation and go to acclimatize around Gabon before the tournament proper.”
The Black Starlets will be seeking to qualify as part of the four African teams to qualify for the World Cup when the African showpiece starts.
