Ghana’s Andre Dede Ayew has been given a big boost by his West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic.
The Manager of the London based club believes the Deputy Captain of the Black Stars has his performance improving match after match which is a positive input for the progress of the team as season nears climax.
Andre Ayew scored one of the consolation goals for the Hammers in their 2-3 away defeat to Bournemouth.
Slaven Bilic emphasized that the 27-year-old’s performance will help his outfit to excel in English Premier League.
“Andre had a couple of major things which happened to him, which affected his season so far” Bilic told the club’s official website.
“The first was that he had a massive injury in the first game of the season, and then when he came back it was a little bit too early, so he was searching for fitness and form.
He suffered a thigh injury on his début for West Ham United against Chelsea in August last year.
“Then he went to the Africa Cup of Nations and now he looks really good. That’s the reason we bought him – he has that sense to be in the right place at the right time.
“He scored like that against his former side Swansea, he scored like that against Watford and he scored a similar kind of goal again on Saturday.
“That’s a big quality for the strikers to be in a good position, so now he’s back in good shape and of course we expect him to improve us.”
Ayew joined the London Stadium outfit on the club transfer record fee during the last summer transfer window.
