The World Rugby Sevens saw England beat South Africa 19-7 to win the Vancouver leg of the World Rugby Sevens.
South Africa took the lead in Canada but both teams went level on 7-7 at halftime.
England hero, Dan Norton sealed the victory for the Europeans as they won 19-7 .
Dan Norton was elated after the game after equalling a world record 244th try to narrow the gap between them and leaders, South Africa in Canada.
“It’s been a surreal two days.”
“It’s something I never felt I’d be in a position to do but I owe it to the team-mates who helped me get into try-scoring positions over the years.”
Despite the win, South Africa will still top the standings with 126 points with England on 103 to place second with four rounds left to be played.
The next leg of series at the World Rugby Sevens will take place in Hong Kong starting 7th April to 9th April.
