GHANA PREMIER LEAGUE MATCHDAY 7: KOTOKO 1-0 WAFA

The matchday 7 of the Ghana Premier League saw Kumasi Asante Kotoko beat West African Football Academy 1-0 at the Baba Yara Stadium on Wednesday.

The Porcupines scored in the second half through Frank Sarfo Gyamfi as he pounced on Emmanuel Gyamfi’s cutback pass to give Kotoko the lead.

Kotoko held on to win and has now won all 4 games at home.

The Porcupines with this win moves to 17 points and sit joint top on the league log alongside Aduana Stars who drw at home with Medeama.

Emmanuel Gyamfi won the man-of-the-match after the game, his fifth for the season.

Kotoko travels to Accra to face Accra Hearts of Oak on Sunday in matchday 8 of the Ghana Premier League.
