Former captain of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Frimpong Manso has added his voice for Kotoko to handle Hearts of Oak better when the two clash in the Ghana Premier on Match Day 8.
Coach Frimpong Manso said on Boss FM this morning that comparing the two teams, “Kotoko have greater chance to win because they are ahead of Hearts in terms of season statistics and performance”.
“Kotoko sits second on the league table with scored seven goals scored and conceded only two whereas Hearts Of Oak is currently lying 9th with six goals scored and conceded seven goals”.He explained.
He continued by warning Kotoko to be very weary of Hearts Of Oak because the phobians have not performed so well in their last two matches and that can push them to come all out.
Asante Kotoko have not lost to Hearts of Oak for almost 8 years and Frimpong Manso also believes that would give Kotoko the needed confidence to approach the game and win.
Asked by Mr. Richard Smith Donkor the host, who will win, Frimpong Manso did not hesitate to mention Kotoko because they have proven their willingness to win in recent matches.
Frimpong Manso is the father of Kotoko defender, Edwin Tuffour Frimpong.
