RAY WILKINS: CHELSEA NEEDS ONLY FEW ‘ADDITIONS’

Former Manchester United and Chelsea player, Ray Wilkins says Chelsea will  need only few ‘additions’ in the summer.

The ex Chelsea assistant manager claims he expect Chelsea to clinch the Premier League title but dont see any major changes to the current Chelsea squad as they will seek to defend their Premier League title and compete in Europe next season.

Chelsea are lying at the top of the Premier League with 10 points behind the second place Spurs with just 10 games to go.

The ex Chelsea player and coach told Premier Daily that;

“They’ll be delighted to be in that Champions League, they would have missed it immensely this season.”

“It really depends on Diego Costa, to a large degree, who they are going to get in to replace him if he decides to go to China, which has already been mooted this season.

“It will be very interesting, I’m sure Antonio will have a few names up his sleeve that he would like to bring in. Defensively they have spoken about bringing added players in.

“But at this moment in time they just need a few additions to keep themselves bubbling along – they are all young enough and they all look absolutely superb at the moment.”

Chelsea welcome Crystal Palace to Stamford Bridge on 1st April as they seek to win the Premier League title for the second time in 3 seasons.
