Russell Westbrook makes history as he set the highest scoring triple-double in NBA history.
A triple-double means a player has recorded a double-digit number in three of five statistical categories: points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks.
The Oklahoma City Thunder star stole the show as his side emerged as winners beating Orlando Magic 114-106.
The NBA star scored 57 points for his team claiming 11 assists as well as 13 rebounds.
Oklahoma City Thunder coach, Billy Donovan said after the game;
“Overall, it’s just incredible what he’s doing now.”
Orlando Magic coach was all praise for the record-breaker as he reiterated;
“That performance was one of the best. “It’s tough to rank those over the years, but it’s right up there with the best. Give him credit.”
Westbrook also recounted the reason behind his astute performances as he said; “I don’t take this game for granted. I just try to come out each and every night and compete at a high level.”
