Veteran Charles ‘The Crusader” Adamu (28-9, 22 KO’s) will storm Belgium to battle Erik Nazaryan (21-17-4, 15 KO’s) on June 17th at the Sporthal Tempelhof in Brugge, Belgium.
Adamu will be moving up in weight from super middleweight to light heavyweight to face Nazaryan, it will be a non title clash.
Ahead of the upcoming bout, the former national and commonwealth super middleweight champion has been speaking about the fight.
“It is a great opportunity for me and i’m happy about it because the fight is going to take place in Belgium,” Adamu told Ghanamansports.com
“It will not be my first time fighting outside the shores of Ghana, i have a lot of experience when it comes to fighting outside Ghana, so this fight is one of those fights but I am going there for a win, and i will surely win.
“He is an experience boxer like me so i will not underrate him. Training has been great and i’m poised for action .”
Adamu’s last fight outside Ghana was June 2016 against Sergei Ekimov in Latvia which he lost via a unanimous decision.
