The Ayew brothers; Andre Dede Ayew and Jordan Ayew are set to square off later today in the English Premier league when Swansea City FC visits West Ham United in the Saturday afternoon kick off. The parental brothers will take to the pitch from opposite end of the pitch with the senior brother playing for the hammers at home to Jordan Ayew’s Welsh side.
The two brothers , sons of the legendary Ghanaian football Abedi Ayew ‘Pele’ , have already faced each other in a number of matches but Saturday’s clash has been spiced by the junior brother ahead of the kick. Speaking to whufc.com, Andre Ayew revealed his affection for his junior brother but has plot to put brotherly love affair when they meet later in the day.
We’ve never had a rivalry!” he smiled. “We’re very close and we try to help each other to give our best and to do better. We are only a year-and-a-half different in age, so we grew up together and talk about everything.
“We’ve played against each other a few times now, and we played together for the national team and Marseille, so it’s always nice.
“It’s a different feeling and I’m always happy to meet him on and off the pitch, but I always want to win!”
