PFA PLAYER OF THE YEAR NOMINEES ANNOUNCED

The Football Association through the Premier League has announced the six man shortlist for the Professionals Football Association Player of the Year.

The six man shortlist are deemed to have over performed for the 2016/2017 season. They include league leaders, Chelsea duo of Eden Hazard and workaholic N’Golo Kante.

The rest are Manchester United’s forward, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Everton’s Romelu Lukaku, Tottenham Hotspurs forward Harry Kane and Arsenal Chile’s forward, Alexis Sanchez.

The PFA Young player of the Year were also announced with Tottenham Hotspurs getting to nominations on the six man shortlist.

Harry Kane and Dele Alli were nominated alongside Sunderland shot stopper, Jermaine Pickford.

The rest are Manchester City’s winger, Leroy Sane, Burnley’s Michael Keane and Everton forward, Romelu Lukaku.

The Women Player of the Year were also nominated with Manchester City getting three nominations.

The award ceremony will take place on Sunday, 30th April, 2017.
