The new National Sports Authority (NSA) Director General, Hon. Robert Sarfo Mensah, says he is unhppy with the current state of Sports in Ghana.
Ghana for the past years have failed to make meaningful impact in international sporting activities.
“It is not good, as a nation we can do better than,” Hon. Mensah told reporters. We have the talents and we must make good use of them.”
“I will meet the federation heads to know what their problems are so that we can come out with the needed solution.
“Before we (Ghana) do better we have to put proper structures in place and also help the federations with their needs, because it is the responsibility of the NSA to promote sports in the country.”
The former The former Member of Parliament for Asunafo North last month was appointed by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to take over from Joe Kpenge.
Hon. Mensah officially took office last Wednesday after a colourful handing over ceremony.
