Tottenham Hotspurs manager, Mauricio Pochettino has reiterated his commitment to Spurs as he claims he is staying at the club.
The 45 year old Argentine signed a five year deal since he joined Spurs from Southampton in 2014. He has a contract to 2021 after signing a new contract last year. He has been linked with a move away from the London Club and a move to Barcelona whose manager exits at the end of the season.
But the Argentine has debunked all these rumours saying he is happy at the club and will stay at the club. He said “There are many rumours, but I am committed with the club”.
” There is no reason to leave. I will be here for pre-season. There is no buy-out clause in my contract. I will stay here next season “.
When quizzed about he taking over the Barcelona job that will be vacant at the end of the season, the ex Espanyol manager said it would be ” impossible” for him to assume that role.
He indicated “I am an Espanyol supporter- I think then I don’t need to speak too much”. Spurs who have secured their best finish in the Premier League after securing second place will take on Hull City at the King Communications Stadium on Sunday.
