KOTOKO – HEARTS MATCH FOR 2ND LEG OF GHANA AT 60 IN DANGER

The organizers of the Ghana @60 anniversary match between Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak say the second leg match scheduled for 28 May in Kumasi has been postponed. 

According to reports, the Ghana FA has refused to sanction the exhibition match.

”The May 28th second leg clash between Kotoko and Hearts of Oak has been postponed. We are in talks with the FA with respect to a new date,” Anim Addo told is quoted by Sportscrusader.com.

It will be recalled that Hearts of Oak beat Asante Kotoko 3-1 in Accra last month at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Hearts of Oak thrashed Asante Kotoko 3-1 in the first leg of the Ghana@60 anniversary game at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium, Accra on Monday.

The Rainbow Club for the second time this year defeated their bitter nemesis at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Striker Kwame Kizito climbed off the bench to score the first goal for Hearts of Oak after a capitalizing on a goalkeeping howler by Felix Annan.

Defender Awal Mohammed quickly responded with a wonderful header.

Hearts of Oak skipper Thomas Abbey got his name on the score sheet by putting his side into the lead for the second time with a superb strike before Patrick Razak got the cushioning with a tap in after Fatawu Mohammed has sent in a cross.
