Sources close to Ghamansports.com have revealed that Coach Frimpong Manso that the recently care taker coach has resigned from his post as Kotoko assistant coach.
The former Black Starlets trainer decided to resign from the club on personal grounds.
At a closed door meeting between the Management, Players and Technical Staff, Frimpong had his letter ready for delivery but hesitated after second thought. But early today the former captain of the team tendered in his resignation letter to Dr. Kwame Kyei, the C.E.O.
But other sources revealed he has resigned as a result of family decision amidst the problems Kotoko is currently facing and the relative media bash that comes with it.
Manso was brought in as Kotoko caretaker coach following the sacking of Zdravko Logarusic last month.
Under his reign as the caretaker coach, the Porcupine Warriors went four games without a win and that forced the club’s management to hire Steve Polack from Berekum Chelsea.
Manso was asked to assist Pollack but has decided to leave his former club citing personal reasons.
“It’s true i have communicated my decision to the officials of the club and its on personal grounds”he revealed
