German and Bayern Munchen defender, Philipp Lahm had been inducted in Bayern Hall of Fame as he bows out of the club this season.
The German who has been the captain of the Bavarians announced that he will leave the club when the season ends.
Ahead of closing the 2016/2017 season for the Bavarians, the German has been inducted to the Hall of Fame of the club for his meticulous work done for the club.
Lahm who spent most of his early career playing as left back was deployed as right back and also as a defensive midfielder for Bayern and Germany. He made 331 appearances for the Bavarians scoring 12 goals.
Lahm is a FIFA World Cup winner having won the tournament in 2014 and has been named in the World Cup team for there consecutive times; 2006, 2010 and 2014.
Lahm has also been named in the UEFA Team of the year seven times.
He was the captain of the Die Manschaft before his retirement in 2014.
