Italian and Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte has duly been awarded the Barclays Manager of the Year award after guiding his club to the Premier League title.
Conte who joined Chelsea in July, 2016 steered the Blues to a 1st place finish after finishing the previous season at 10th in the PL. The Italian changed from a 4-2-3-1 formation which won him 3 wins out of 6 to a 3-4-3 formation, winning 13 matches on the spin equalling Arsenal’s record set in 2003/2004.
The Italian watched his side as they break the Premier League record for most wins in a single season as they beat Sunderland 5-1 at the final game of the season at Stamford Bridge to make it 30 wins out of 38 to claim the title.
Conte resurgence to finish 1st in May, 2017 after moving to 9th at the end of September, 2016 ensured he wins the PL Manager of the Year award.
