The 2016/2017 Premier League ended once again as 380 matches were played across all centres.
There were excitement and goals across all centres of the Premier League and this season promised to be one of the best in history.
Chelsea won the league ahead of Spurs and Manchester City with Sunderland, Hull City and Middlesbrough bowing out.
Thibaut Courtois who was a great shot stopper for Chelsea this season won the golden gloves as he kept 16 clean sheets in the season.
Courtois was on 16 clean sheets going into the final and was assured of getting a PL Golden Gloves and can only co-share if Hugo Lloris who going into the final game was on 15 clean sheets, keep one. But the French conceded leaving Courtois the goalkeeper to win this year’s Golden Glove award.
On the contrast, it was Spurs and English forward, Harry Kane who netted seven goals in his last two games to ensure that he finishes as the topscorer in the PL for the second year running with 29 goals.
The 23 year old scored his 5th hattrick of the season beating Jimmy Greaves record for Spurs (when he scored 3) at Hull City beating the Tigers 7-1.
The three goal scored against Hull City saw Kane win the Golden Boot for the second year running.
Congratulations to Kane and Courtois for winning the Golden Boot and Gloves respectively.
