Madagascar’s FIFA referee Namada El Moussa has been handed The 2017 Under 17 African championship final involving Ghana and Mali. The Sunday’s showdown will see the Black Starlets returning to the summit of African football for the first time since 2005 under the guidance of Paa Kwesi Faabin.
The expected blockbuster will see the Madagascan referee flanked by Mahamoud Ahmed Abo El Regal of Egypt and Gabonese Moussounda Montei. The team of officials is completed by Egyptian Mustapha Ghorbal whiles Victor Adolfo Estrella of Cape Verde has been appointed as the Match commissioner .
Black Starlets will be hoping to dislodge Mali as defending champions when they take to the Stade L’Amitie in Libreville at exactly 5:30 pm Ghana time on Sunday , May 28, 2017. Both teams have already qualified for the 2017 FIFA Under 17 World cup to be staged in India.
Ghana will come up against with defending champions Mali in the final of the 2017 African U17 Championship on Sunday.
Mali set up a final clash with the Black Starlets after a hard earned victory over Guinea. Les Aiglonnets beat the Guinea 2-0 on penalties to reach their second consecutive final.
Mali won the last edition of the tournament two years ago in Niger.
Both teams have already qualified for the 2017 FIFA Under 17 World cup to be staged in India.
The game kicks off at exactly 5:30 pm Ghana time.
