Real Madrid have landed in Wales ahead of their bid to become the first ever club to retain the Champions League.
The Spanish champions flew to Wales as the reigning kings of Europe after last season’s penalty shootout victory over Atletico Madrid in Milan, and they defend their title at the Principality Stadium (National Stadium of Wales) against Juventus.
And Zinedine Zidane’s squad touched down at Cardiff City airport on Friday afternoon ahead of their bid to create history.
Ahead of getting on the flight, the clubs official Twitter account posted a video of the players arriving on Friday morning to catch the team bus to the airport, with Ronaldo, James Rodriguez and Toni Kroos all seen catching a ride.
On board, Ramos looked as composed as ever as he posted a pick alongside full back Marcelo as the Real Madrid team began the final leg of their journey to the Principality Stadium.
One player who may rightly be a touch more excited than the defender is Bale, who will be returning to his home city for the showpiece.
He was also active on social media before take off, taking a snap with midfielder Luka Modric and posting with the message ‘Cardiff here we come!’.
Real Madrid’s official account also got involved, posting a picture of Dani Carvajal, Nacho and Alvaro Morata, while their Twitter also included a video of the players boarding the team bus on the way to the airport.
Along with the players where other familiar faces from the Real’s recent past.
Club ambassador Roberto Carlos was on the flight too, sat alongside Raul, who was recently appointed to a presidential adviser role at the Bernabeu.
