Paa Kwesi Sumsum Musumru, the Public Relations Officer for National Circles Committee of Accra Hearts Of oak has labelled the club’s debacle by WAFA as a tsunami.
Accra Hearts of Oak were beaten heavily by WAFA by a 5-0 scoreline in Sogakope last Sunday in the Week 17 of the Ghana Premier League.
Sumsum spoke on Boss FM’s Boss Sports 2 this morning and said that ” the national Youth employment of WAFA man handled us so badly, they beat us left and right and in a state of confusion we did not have anti-dote to what they did to us.”
They mishandled us just like what the people of Denkyira Obuasi did, they showed us no pity nor sympathy” he continued.
He went on to explain that thus “coach Frank Nuttall was left in a state of sixs and sevens, the coach was totally at sea and it was as if he was drowning in the deep sea”. He said.
But Sumsum went on to affirm their support for the coach and the players and explained these things are normal in football and so the most important thing is for Hearts to come back stronger.
“This is not the first time this has happened to a big club like Hearts, a certain team suffered 4-0 defeat at the hands of Dwarfs last season yet they did not collapse”. Sumsum ridiculed arch rivals Asante Kotoko.
