West African Football Academy SC head coach, Klavs Rasmussen says his boys adhered to his tactics on Sunday.
The Danish trainer was full of praise for his young boys and said his boys could have scored more on Sunday.
WAFA beat Accra Hearts of Oak 5-0 on Sunday with goals from Caleb Amankwaah, Ibrahim Yakubu, a brace from Daniel Lomotey and a fine strike from man of the match Majeed Ashimeru.
WAFA dominated the game and duly won the game in style beating the Phobians 5-0.
The Dane said;
“The preparation was good, the players understood the team tactics and they did very well”.
“I’m not surprised. Yes, the amount of goals looks surprising but if you watched the game, it could have been 10,” Rasmussen lamented.
He continued: “It was not an easy game; it was a very high level of performance from the boys”.
“We played on a good pitch. There is no secret but we had a slight advantage because we know the pitch so well”.
WAFA currently lead the Ghana Premier League table with 35 points after 17 games played.
