Britain Andy Murray has reached the semi finals of the French Open at Roland Garros after beating Kei Nishikori 2-6 6-1 7-6 (7-0) 6-1 at Paris.
The 30 year old has reached his fourth consecutive French Open semi-final and will now face Stan Wawrinka who eased past Marin Cilic 6-3 6-3 6-1.
This will be a repeat of the last year’s semi final which Murray beat Wawrinka in four sets.
Murray said after the game; “Stan has played fantastic this tournament so far.”
“Last year when we met he was playing very well and I had to play one of my best matches on clay to beat him.
“It’s not always been easy for me here but the last few years have been great.”
In the other semi final, Rafa Nadal will take on Dominic Thiem who beat Novak Djokovic to reach the last four.
