Accra Hearts of Oak Administrative manager, Hackman Aidoo has indicated that the over dependence on Majority Shareholder, Togbe Afede is the reason for Hearts of Oak woes.
Accra Hearts of Oak are yet to pay the salaries and bonuses of both playing and technical team for the past four months despite the club doing well in the Ghana Premier League.
The Administrative Manager in an interview with Nhyira Sports Page 1 said the club depends much on Togbe Afede and that is the reason why the club is in this crisis.
He said; “Yes we owe our players but I don’t know when it will be paid because the board calls the shot”.
He continued “We depend more on Togbe Afede”.
When asked what the overdependence is for Accra Hearts of Oak, Hackman Aidoo added;
“The overdependence on Togbe Afede is becoming too much. Our salary bill is at GH¢100,000”.
Earlier, the Communication Director had already indicated on Nananom Sports, Goaso that the club knows the plight of the players and the technical team and are ready to settle all areas.
Accra Hearts of Oak will travel to Elmina to face Elmina Sharks on Sunday in Match day 19 of the Ghana Premier League
