The Player Status Committee of the Ghana Football Association will today sit on the case involving Medeama and Tom Strand after the Tarkwa based club levelled allegations against the Swedish born international.
The 36 year old coach who was former employee of Medeama steering the club to the Money Zone of the CAF Confederations Cup left the club after the club had visited Mamelodi Sundowns in South Africa.
He left the club with the club hierarchy not knowing his whereabout leaving a note indicating that he will not continue as a coach of the first team of the Tarkwa based club.
Tom Strand returned to Ghana and have been employed as the coach of Accra based side, Great Olympics.
This sparked Medeama to lodge a complain that they had a contract with Strand and left without any reason so cannot allow him to join Olympics.
The case was to be looked at and the Status Committee of the GFA has indicated that they will sit on the case today to bring out the facts and their final judgement.
