Owner and CEO of BAMED TRAVEL AND TOUR, Alhaji Bamed has levelled some allegations against the top hierarchy of the Ghana Football Association, the Ministry of Youth Sports and the US Embassy calling for their resignation as soon as possible.
The Travel and Tour owner made these allegations in relation to Ghana’s scheduled friendly games with the USA and the Mexico later this week.
He indicated that both the GFA President and his Vice should resign as well as the Sports Minister and his vice doing same.
He didn’t end there but added the International Relations Director of the GFA as well as the top hierarchy of the US Embassy to all resign because he claimed they took $10,000 each from over 120 business men to enable them get visas for the all important friendly games.
He made all these known when he spoke to Peace Sports saying;
“I was contacted by the GFA for a meeting at MOVENPICK Ambassador Hotel and was told to provide 13 names each will pay $10,000 for USA visa”.
He continued; “Apart from the list that is over 120 people, no other person should be given visa in the name of the friendly games”.
He then added that he has sent a petituon calling for the resignation of these people.
” I want them to resign. They are not the only ones that can do football in this country”, he lamented.
Ghana play Mexico on Wednesday in a friendly and will conclude with USA on Saturday.
