IN THE MATTER OF THE ENFORCEMENT OF PLAYERS’ STATUS COMMITTEE
DECISION CONCERNING THE TRANSFER OF PLAYER, DUADA MOHAMMED
In accordance with Article 41(5) of the Statutes of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Article 63 of the GFA Disciplinary Code, the Disciplinary Committee (hereinafter referred to as “the Committee”) considered the Decision of the Player’s Status Committee, the evidence and depositions from all the parties Intervest Football Club (hereinafter referred to as “the Petitioner”), Asante Kotoko Sporting Club (hereinafter referred to as “the 1st Respondents”) and Global Stars Sporting Club (hereinafter referred to as “the 2nd Respondents”), Matisco Football Club (hereinafter referred to as “the Interested Party”), and Proton Sports Services (hereinafter referred to as “the Consultants”), together with all the supporting attachments, the record of proceedings of the Players’ Status Committee and official transfer records.
The Committee therefore, makes the following decisions:
- That in this matter, all the parties – Asante Kotoko SC, Global Stars SC, Intervest FC and Matisco FC must note and ensure that the interest of the Player, Dauda Mohammed is paramount at all times and takes precedence over the interest of each of the parties herein, as well as, the collective interest of all the parties herein. To this end, each of the parties herein is hereby ESTOPPED from engaging in any media discussion of this matter, failing which this Committee shall apply the necessary sanctions on the defaulting party or parties.
- That the GFA Disciplinary Committee shall not fine Asante Kotoko SC the usual amount of GH¢1,000 requested by Article 63 of the GFA Disciplinary Code for their refusal to respect the Players’ Status Committee Decision in respect of the transfer of Dauda Mohammed because the decision required further determination.
Global Stars SC to refund money paid by KOTOKO for Kotoko to pay all parties correctly per the Decision or risk losing points and transfer ban or demotion
That this Ruling being one for the enforcement of a Decision of the Players’ Status Committee (PSC) is not appealable.
