Bechem FC striker, Ahmed Simba Toure has taken a swipe at Accra Hearts Of Oak after his side beat the Phobians.
Toure scored the only goal in the second half that ensured Hearts drop behind Arch rivals, Asante Kotoko who also beat Medeama FC. 3- 1 in Kumasi.
Speaking to Metro FM in Kumasi, the former Kotoko striker said, ” I used this Hearts of Oak match as a training game because I could not train very well ahead of this game,i only trained on Thursday and Friday” .
” But this Hearts Of Oak team is not too strong for me, the defenders of Hearts could not handle my prowess in the game yesterday”.
Asked whether he has rediscovered his form, the Ivorian born striker emphasised “it’s normal to have a drop in form as a footballer, but that does not make me a bad player, I have always been a great striker”. He explained.
” I have scored 9 goals this season and that should tell you my performance so far. And I also believe I can score more goals in the 9 games left to play in the Ghana Premier League”. Toure continued.
He then went on to commend Saddick Adams of Asante Kotoko, ” Saddick is a very good striker, I have watched him on some occasions and I must admit he is a great player”.
Ahmed then reiterated that it’s possible he can sign for Kotoko again but it will be a nightmare for other clubs if he should pair up with Saddick Adams upfront for the Kumasi based club.
