Steve Pollack will ‘excel’ at Asante Kotoko says Yusif Chibsah as he backs the former Berekum Chelsea manager to lead the Porcupine Warriors to glory.
The former Kotoko player is confident that the Brit will lead his former club to the height it deserves if given the ‘needed support’.
Steve Pollack joined Asante Kotoko after the first round of the Ghana Premier League and has helped stabilised a club that were on a winless streak. Kotoko started with Zdravsko Lugarusic and was handed the marching orders before team manager, Gordon Ablordey took over the club playing just a game before Frimpong Manso came in to complete the first round. Pollack was appointed after the first round and is yet to lose a game since his appointment and has won the Presidential Cup.
Ahead of Kotoko’s game against Inter Allies at the El Wak Stadium tomorrow, the former midfield dynamo of Kotoko told Agoo TV; “Steve Polack is a good Coach, if you consider his time at Chelsea and now with Kotoko”. “I think he will help the club a lot”.
“Kotoko is a big club and the expectations are always high but I know he will excel with the club if he is given the needed support, he continued.
Asante Kotoko lies 3rd on the Ghana Premier League log with 35 points after 21 round of games.
