The Black Starlets will pitch camp at Denmark ahead of their upcoming FIFA U17 World Cup in India according to the vice chairman, Abdul Salam Yakubu.
Ghana has been drawn with host, India, Colombia and USA ahead of the tournament that starts on 6th October and will like to win the tournament since winning for the second time in 1995.
The vice chairman, Salam Yakubu indicated that the team can only thrive if they engage in adequate preparations hence have decided to pitch camp in Denmark.
He told footballmadeinghana.com saying; “The team will be travelling to Denmark to compete in a mini tournament before the competition starts in India”.
“We are looking forward for support from the Ministry Of Youth and Sports to help us prepare well. We shall surely qualify from our group”, he added.
Ghana will open their account at the 2017 U17 World Cup against Colombia on 6th October.
The team will face USA in their next group game before taking on hosts, India in the last group game.
