WIMBLEDON 2017: GUSTAVO FERNANDEZ BEAT ALFIE HEWETT TO REACH MEN’S WHEELCHAIR SINGLES FINAL

Argentine Gustavo Fernandez beat British Alfie Hewett to reach the Men’s Wheelchair Singles final.

Fernandez , 23, who lost the French Open to Hewett, 19 avenged his defeat to the Brit by beating him 4-6 7-6 (7-4) 6-3.

He will now face Sweden’s Stefan Olsson who saw off reigning Wimbledon champion and Brit Gordon Reid 6-2 6-3 in straight sets.

Olsson lost to the Brit at last year’s Wimbledon and have avenged that defeat by reaching the finals of the Men’s Wheelchair Singles which will be played on Sunday.
