Barely two weeks of pairing up, Brit Jamie Murray and Swiss Martina Hingis are Wimbledon Mixed Doubles champion after beating Henri Kontinen from Finland and British Heather Watson in straight sets.
Murray and Hingis won 6-4 6-4 in just some minutes after the hour mark to record another one for the cabinet. It is a decade since Jamie Murray won the mixed doubles and two decaded since Hingis won the singles title and here they are celebrating another success in tennis.
The win means another Grand Slam for Jamie Murray and a 23rd for Martina Hingis across the singles and doubles.
In other games, the Men’s Invincible doubles final went to Australian pair of Lleyton Hewitt and Mark Philippoussis who beat American Justin Gimelstob and Brit Ross Hutchins in straight sets of 6-3 6-3 on Court One.
