Ghanaian international, Albert Adomah faces two weeks on the sidelines after suffering an injury to his shin in Aston Villa’s first game of the preseason.
The Aston Villa winger suffered a gash to his shin and needed to be substituted midway through the first half of Aston Villa’s 4-0 win over Telford United at New Bucks.
The 29 year old needed four stitches in his shin and also suffered strained ligaments in the back of his knee.
Adomah, 29, joined the Villains from Middlesbrough last year and is heading into his second year at the Villa Park.
Aston Villa will continue their preseason in Germany.
