Aduana Stars defender, Stephen Anokye Badu has indicated that Black Stars call up is his primary objective as he seeks to earn a call up to the Black Stars managed by Kwasi Appiah.
The player who is playing consistently for the Dormaa based club told reporters after their 2-0 win over Ebusua Dwarfs said: “I will call on Coach Kwasi Appiah to start monitoring my games”.
“I am praying that I get a national team call up this year”.
“I have had a good season with Aduana Stars and I am happy with all the praises so far but my target is to finish the season as the best defender in Ghana”. “I thank God for my performance this year”, he added.
“I am always working hard, that’s why I am improving. I don’t get satisfied with my performance so I don’t relax after games. I want to keep on improving in the remaining games of the season”, the defender reiterated.
He is also looking to be part of the Black Stars ‘B’ which are preparing for the African Championship of Nations slated for this year.
