BREAKING: RICHARD OFORI JOINS MARITZBURG UNITED

Ghana Black Stars goalkeeper, Richard Ofori has joined Maritzburg United from Wa All Stars.

The South African outfit have signed the Ghanaian international on a three year-deal with an option for a fourth.

Richard Ofori, 23, is being tagged a replacement for Virgil Vries from Namibia who left at the end of the season. He will bring more experience to the club.

“MUFC confirm the signing of Ghanaian goalkeeper on a three-year contract with a further option”, Maritzburg United said in a brief statement on Thursday.

Richard Ofori is now manning the goal post for the Black Stars since the return of Kwesi Appiah and has started all three games including the friendlies against USA and Mexico.

Ofori also helped his former club Wa All Stars as they clinched the Ghana Premier League last season and was named PLB Goalkeeper of the season at the end of the season.

GhanaMansports.com wishes him well at their new club.
