WESTHAM AGREES JAVIER HERNANDEZ ‘CHICHARITO’ TRANSFER WITH BAYER LEVERKUSEN

English side, WestHam United have agreed Javier Hernandez ‘Chicharito’ transfer with Bayern Leverkusen.

Hernandez Chicharito who scored 59 goals in 156 appearances for United after arriving at Old Trafford in 2010, before joining Leverkusen for £7.3m in August 2015 will go for a fee in the region of £16m.

He is to fly to London and agree personal terms and have medicals to finalise the deal.

Chicharito, 29, who played for Mexico in the just ended FIFA Confederations Cup will be the fifth signing by the Hammers.

The London based club has brought in Paulo Zabaleta on a free transfer and loaned Joe Hart from Manchester City among other signings for Slaven Bilic side.

They are reported to have also agreed a fee reported to worth £24m with Stoke City for the transfer of winger, Marko Arnautovic.

Arnautovic joined Stoke in 2013 from Werder Bremen and scored 7 goals for the Potteries last season.
