Former Black Star striker, Augustine Arhinful says the decision to change the timing of the Africa Cup of Nations is the best decision taken by CAF and that it will help football on the continent.
The Confederation of African football made a decision on Thursday to amend the timing of the Africa Cup of Nation at a symposium in Morocco.
Formerly, There have always been complaints about the timing of the Nations Cup tournament which has been a problem for some European Clubs to release their players for the competition.
“I think it is good, it is going to help African players ease off the pressure of leaving their clubs mid- way in the season in order to serve their nations. He told Boss Sports in Kumasi today.
