GPL MATCHWEEK 24: ADUANA STARS MOVE TO TOP OF THE GPL

Aduana Stars has moved to the top of the Ghana Premier league after a 0-0 drawn game with Tarkwa based side, Medeama SC at the Tarkwa and Aboaso (T&A) Park.

The Dormaa side who were second in the league going into the game secured the draw after resilient defending despite having also some fair share of clear cut chances.

The game which was marred with Medeama fans’ protest as they agitated against Ghana Premier League TV broadcasters, StarTimes telecasting the game live on the screens but rescinded their decision after the hierarchy of the club step into it started on a slow pace but tension increased as the minutes wear on.

Aduana Stars with the draw means they move to 44 points to move top of the league after 24 round of games albeit second place WAFA having two games in hand.
