Raphael Dwamena scored twice for FC Zurich in the Swiss Super League in the opening day of the Swiss top flight.
The Ghanaian international’s two goals were enough to beat FC Grasshoppers in the Zurich derby on Sunday.
The 24 year old who recently won his first cap for the Black Stars when they played Ethiopia in the 2017 African Nations qualifier opened the scoring in the 21st minute before increasing his tally to 2 on the day with 82 minutes played.
The striker who was awarded the man-of-the-match is looking forward to helping his club perform well in the season.
The win means FC Zurich moves above FC Basel to the top of the league.
