Elvis Kwame Opoku, the Deputy Accra representative of Aduana Stars has told Happy FM sports that the club has fulfilled the payment of the fine handed them by the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association.
Aduana Stars was fined GHc20,500 by the DC for their fans not allowing TV broadcasters of the Ghana Premier League, StarTimes to teleacast live their matchweek 18 game against Kumasi Asante Kotoko at the Nana Agyemang Badu II Park.
Elvis Kwame Opoku, speaking to Happy FM sports host, Sintim ‘Chaskele’ Koree, the Accra rep said they have paid the fine and insisted that they will not engage in that gross misconduct again.
“It was yesterday morning that we paid the GHc20,500 fine given to us by the Ghana FA Disciplinary Committee at their secretariat accounts office”, Elvis said.
“It’s just unfortunate that such incident happened but I’m very sure that the situation will not repeat itself”, he added.
He also called on the Aduana Stars supporters to remain calm and support the club as they seek to win their second Ghana Premier League title.
Aduana Stars currently occupy the top of the summit with 44 points after 24 round of games.
