Dreams FC Head of Communications, Henry Asante has indicated that they ‘are in the Ghana Premier League’ as he sees the qualification to the Ghanaian top flight is a done deal.
Dreams FC have have been impeccable form occupying the top spot in the Division One League Zone III after 22 games played. The club was demoted to the second tier of Ghana Football for fielding an unqualified player.
The number of matches left is 8 and the the club that finishes top of the league gains automatic promotion to the Ghana Premier League and Henry Asante has indicated that they have almost qualified despite some games left to be played.
He told the press; ”I think we are in the premier league. We have almost our two legs in the premier league”.
”It has been a very difficult season. After the demotion, we had to work on the psyche of the players, in addition to recruiting young ones. About 85% of the players are new. We picked them from other division one and two clubs to start a fresh”, he continued.
”They have done very well. Their commitment level has also been very good”, he added.
Dreams FC opened a nine point lead on the table after their 2-1 win over Accra Young Wise on Sunday.
