French side, Paris Saint-Germain are prepared to pay over £40m to sign Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal, GhanaMansports.com can exclusively reveal.
There were earlier reports from France that PSG had tabled a €50m (£44.7m) bid for Sanchez but GhanaMansports.com sources can reveal that Arsenal is yet to receive any bid from the French side.
Alexis Sanchez joined Arsenal in 2014 and has just a year on his current contract that expires in June 2018 but the player is reluctant to sign a contract extension.
He was linked to Premier League Champions, Chelsea and Manchester City but the Gunners’ manager, Arsene Wenger is not ready to sell and will prefer selling to a club outside the PL if it is necessary to sell the 28 year old.
Wenger also added that PSG are going after Barcelona’s Neymar because they know they have no chance of signing Sanchez adding that Sanchez has not asked to leave this summer and that the club have no financial need to sell the Chile international.
PSG will like to test the waters on Arsenal and see if they will be willing to offload the Chilean who it is reported to receive in excess of £250,000 a week at the Paris based club.
