A new date for the Ghana’s top two clash, Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak has been confirmed by the Ghana Premier League Board.
The date for the much anticipated clash is on Sunday, 6th August, 2017.
The PLB confirmed this date when they indicated that the GPL has been suspended for a month.
Despite the team indicating to the PLB that they are yet to recover physically and psychologically from the accident suffered, the League Board has indicated that they must play the game in 10 days time.
They also rescheduled Kotoko’s game against WAFA to Wednesday, 23rd August, 2017 and the other outstanding game between AshGold and WAFA to this Sunday.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko lies currently 5th on the GPL table with 35 points while Hearts of Oak occupies the 3rd spot with 39 points so far.
